A Guide to the USU Botanical Center - Kaysville, Utah's Newest Tourist Attraction

If you’re looking for something to do in the area, check out the USU Botanical Center! This new attraction is located in Kaysville, Utah, only a few miles north of bustling Main St. There is so much to do and see in Kaysville and the USU Botanical Center can be found at the heart of it all. The center offers visitors the opportunity to explore the natural world through gorgeous gardens, innovative exhibits and educational programs. This is a great place to visit with the whole family! 

The USU Botanical Center is open every day of the year, but its hours vary. The center is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. It is also closed on the day after Christmas and the day after New Year’s Day.

The USU Botanical Center is free to visit. However, you can only get in if you have a non-profit or government-issued identification. If you don’t have identification, you will be asked to pay a $5 fee to visit the center.

There is only one entrance to the USU Botanical Center. If you visit on a public holiday or if there is a large crowd, you might have to wait in line to get in.

The USU Botanical Center is located at the USU Research and Extension Center in Kaysville, Utah. It is on the north side of SR-36. You can get there by taking SR-36 north to the Kaysville exit and turning right. The Center is near Lakeview Park in Kaysville.

The USU Botanical Center is a gorgeous place full of lush gardens, vibrant landscaping, educational exhibits and engaging programs. Visitors can explore the unique ecosystem of the center’s Gardens of Discovery, or take part in fun and interactive activities, such as the Seed Library and Seed Exchange, the Environmental Learning Center, the Insect Zoo and Bug Quest, the Insect Identification Challenge and the Garden at the Center. What to See at the USU Botanical Center

The Backyard features more than 100 native plant species, a kids play area, and a woodshop to make nature crafts. The Backyard is home to the Gardens of Discovery, which showcases the center’s abundant and diverse plant life. Visitors will also learn about native plants and wildlife with interpretive panels.
